New Delhi. The Indian cricket team has been selected for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Ravichandran Ashwin has returned to this team after four years in the limited overs format. In this 15-member team, 5 spinners have been given place, but the name of Yuzvendra Chahal is not included in this. Fans and veterans were quite surprised when Chahal’s name was not in the T20 team. Although Chahal has not yet given any reaction on his not being selected, but his wife Dhanashree Verma has written something on her Insta story, which is indicating that Chahal is disappointed with not being selected.
Dhanashree Verma has written a message to encourage Yuzvendra Chahal in gestures by not writing directly. Dhanashree has written- “Mother says… that this time too has to pass. Live with your head raised because skill and good deeds always accompany you. So the matter is such that this time also has to pass… God is always great.”
34-year-old Ashwin played his last international limited overs match on 9 July 2017. It was only T20 International that he played against West Indies in Kingston. At the same time, along with leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who played the role of the main spinner in limited overs matches for the last few years, Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw have also not found a place in the team. The UAE pitches have been helping spinners and in such a situation, five specialist spinners have been selected in the team. The T20 World Cup will be played from October 17 to November 14 in UAE and Oman.

Please tell that Rahul Chahar has been given priority over Yuzvendra Chahal. Chetan Sharma, chairman of the selection committee, said about the team, “Ashwin is an important player for us. They have done well in IPL and we need experienced players. We need an off-spinner because of Washington Sundar’s injury. He further said, “We have preferred Rahul Chahar over Chahal because we wanted someone who can bowl fast and get it off the pitch.”
