Facebook’s company instant messaging app WhatsApp is working on a new feature to upgrade its existing voice message function. In fact, the company is working on a global voice message player, which will allow users to listen to someone else’s voice message even after knowing in another chat. That is, earlier when we used to listen to the voice message that came in one chat, it used to stop as soon as we went to the other chat, but now it will not happen after the introduction of this new feature.
This update of the app is currently in the development stage for beta testers. Apart from this, WhatsApp is rolling out updates for the Disappearing Messages feature, which will allow users to set a time limit of 24 hours, 7 hours and 90 days for the message to disappear. This feature has been introduced for iOS beta testers at present.

According to the report of WABetaInfo, the company is testing the global voice message player, so that the voice message continues even after closing the chat. This means the voice message will be present on the home screen of WhatsApp, and will be pinned at the top, so that users can listen to long voice messages while viewing other chats.

Users can also pause and dismiss voice messages. WABetaInfo’s released report Voice Message Player will also be offered for Android users.
