New Delhi : Railway Recruitment Board’s Railway Recruitment Board Group D exam (RRB Group D Exam 2021) and NTPC exam (RRB NTPC Results 2021) results are going to be released soon. A new demand from the organizations can be placed before the Ministry of Railways. In fact, the National Federation of Indian Railwaymen (NFIR), the apex organization of railway workers, wants that all future railway recruitment examinations should be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) instead of the Railway Recruitment Board. Regarding this, NFIR has asked all the organizations concerned to send their views at the earliest after studying and consulting the stakeholders in this regard, so that further steps can be taken in this regard.
National Federation of Indian Railwaymen (NFIR) General Secretary M Raghuvaiya has written a letter to the general secretaries of the affiliated organizations in this regard. The letter states that RRCB was established in the year 1998 to coordinate and streamline the functioning of various Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) under the Indian Railways. At present, there are 21 working RRBs. Considering that the government has created a National Testing Agency (NTA), which has the responsibility of conducting a common preliminary examination for various recruitments in the central government.

He says that in such a situation there is no need for a separate RRB. Therefore, it is recommended to integrate this infrastructure with the existing 2T RRBs under the apex authority NTA.
Raghuvaiya says that Indian Railways can conduct its examination through NTA. Railways may have a small digital office to coordinate with NTA.
For this, the zonal railway unions affiliated to NFIR have been advised to do a detailed study, consult the stakeholders and send their views at the earliest, considering the matter extremely urgent. In this way, the country’s largest railway organization NFIR has agreed to be conducted by the National Testing Agency instead of separate RRBs.

Spokesperson of the organization and President of URMU, SN Malik says that by conducting examinations on such a large scale, the Indian Railways has to bear a lot of financial burden and the manforce also has to be employed. Therefore, it should be the responsibility of conducting all the examinations under the National Testing Agency itself. He said that this letter has been sent to all the zonal units on behalf of the apex organization, so that it can be discussed in detail with the stakeholders and forward the findings. After the conclusion, it will be discussed in the upcoming working committee and its recommendation will be sent by the Federation to the Ministry of Railways and the Government of India soon.
