Know what are the preparations and plans of NRF
ready for a long war, but also ready for talks with the Taliban; The forces of the former government of Afghanistan are ready for war with the Taliban in Panjshir, but they are also willing to hold talks with the Taliban, a front spokesman told AFP in an interview.
Thousands of fighters marched towards Panjshir, military preparations intensified; aLe Maisam Najari said that since the Taliban captured Kabul, thousands of people have fled to Panjshir. Many of these people want to take part in the fight against the Taliban, while hundreds want to make their living in the safe Panjshir Valley. AFP has said in its report that dozens of new recruits are taking training in the Panjshir Valley, while NRF fighters aboard Humvi are marching continuously in the northeast of Kabul.
The main objective of NRF; To avoid bloodshed and put pressure on the new system for the new government in Kabul. Nazari, however, said that the NRF is also ready for war, and if the Taliban does not agree to talks, it will face protests across the country. Nazari told AFP that the main points of peace talks with the Taliban are decentralization, a system that realizes social justice, equal rights, rights and freedom for all. The head of the National Resistance Front’s State Department said the conflict would go on for a long time if the Taliban did not agree to their proposals.
NRF got the support of local fighters: Nazari said that talks between the local leaders of northern Afghanistan and the government of Pakistan were going on a few days ago, when the Taliban took control of the whole of Afghanistan. But now the situation is changing. Nazari said local fighters were opposing the Taliban and joining hands with Masood’s National Resistance Front against the Taliban. He said that Masood has not given any order in this regard, but he is associated with us. “There is a lot of pressure on the Taliban organization,” Nazari said. They cannot be present everywhere at the same time. Their resources are limited. They do not have the support of the majority of Afghanistan’s population.”
Masood and Saleh have different views: Nazari said Masood’s views were different from those of Amrullah Saleh. He said that Saleh is in Panjshir. He stayed in the country and did not run for elections. Regarding Saleh’s anti-Pakistan views, Nazari said that while Amrullah is anti-Tabilan and anti-Pakistan, it does not mean that he is part of this movement. They are in Panjshir and they are respected. While Amrullah Saleh opposes Pakistan, Ahmed Masood advocates good relations with Pakistan. Pakistan has supported the Taliban in overthrowing the government of Ashraf Ghani.
Intellectuals, women activists and politicians also took refuge in Panjshir; Apart from the fighters of Ahmed Masood, at least more than 1,000 people who have fled from different areas of Afghanistan are taking shelter in Panjshir. “We have seen that Panjshir has become a safe haven for people who feel unsafe in different provinces of the country,” Nazari said. He said intellectuals, women activists and politicians who felt insecure from the Taliban have taken refuge in Panjshir.
Masood asked for weapons from America: In an article published on Thursday in the American newspaper Washington Post, Ahmed Masood has asked America for weapons. Nazari said that he has also sought assistance to feed and care for his people on humanitarian grounds. Masood decided to support the people of Panjshir and also to maintain his father’s legacy. Nazari said that Afghanistan needs a federal government so that the ongoing violent conflicts in the country can end.

Nazari said that the state of war in Afghanistan is like a byproduct. He said that there are people of different ethnic communities in Afghanistan. There are many ethnic minorities. And in such a country, you would not want one group to dominate politics and the other classes get nominal representation. Nazari said that Masood’s resistance in Afghanistan and the resistance of other local fighters are to achieve change. Panjshir has always been a ray of hope.
