Dr Satish Khadilkar, head of the department of neurology at Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Science, said that vitamin B deficiency is the most responsible for bad nerves, among other reasons. Vitamin B12 is also made in the body itself, but the problem is that some people do not take the necessary diet for vitamin B12. Therefore, the deficiency of vitamin B12 is highest in comparison to other vitamins. Vitamin B12 deficiency is most common in the elderly. Therefore, the movement of most of the elderly becomes limited.

It was also found in this study that people are not able to differentiate between vein or nerve and blood vessels. Only 38 percent of people know that blood vessels and nerves are different. According to the survey, 73 percent people considered vegetables as suitable diet for vitamin B12 while 69 percent people considered fruits suitable for meeting vitamin B12 deficiency, while both these assumptions are wrong. Actually, vitamin B12 is found in meat, fish, eggs, fortified cereals, low-fat milk, buttermilk and cheese. By consuming these things, the health of the nerves of the body will be correct.
