Wellington. A website of New Zealand is selling Indian cot ie Charpai for Rs 41000. This isn’t the first time. Even before this, many foreign websites have been making good money by selling all the things related to Indian culture and living in the name of vintage. Let us tell you, in the year 2019, a British brand had to face criticism for selling vintage and boho dresses. This dress was a common kurti or kameez worn in India. Which is not that expensive.
Now Annabels, a New Zealand brand, is selling thin rope woven wooden bunk beds under the name Vintage Indian Daybed for Rs 41,000. There is nothing special new in this that is why it is being sold at such an expensive price. While its price is very low in India, it is being sold in New Zealand at 10 times more price.
The website is selling it for 800 New Zealand dollars i.e. Rs 41,211.85. Whereas in any local market in India you can buy it for 1000 rupees. Even in Amazon India, this bunk starts from Rs 8000 and sells for Rs 10,000.

This cot ie cot is common in India. It is still widely used in rural India. Even in dhabas, only bunk beds are used to sit. Earlier in Australia, a man had campaigned to sell an Indian bunk for Rs 50,000. In this, the merits of Indian bunk were also counted.
