Meanwhile, a big news has come out from Maharashtra regarding vaccination. Maharashtra (Maharashtra Vaccination Update) has made a new record in vaccination. The state on Sunday set a record of fully vaccinating more than 2.5 crore people.
Under the vaccination campaign, more than 65 lakh people were vaccinated across the country on Saturday, after which the number of people taking vaccine doses in the country crossed the 90 crore mark. The Union Health Ministry is constantly reviewing vaccination to protect the country’s most vulnerable population groups from Kovid-19 Vaccination.
Most of the states of the country are achieving their target of vaccination. All the states are rapidly increasing the vaccination campaign. Recently, a mega vaccine campaign was run on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17 September. In this, many states took a unique initiative to increase the vaccination coverage. Uttar Pradesh- Uttar Pradesh is continuously accelerating its efforts for the vaccination campaign. The state has been ahead in vaccination since its inception. So far 8,75,25,127 people have been given the first dose of corona vaccine in Uttar Pradesh, while 2,16,63,186 people have received the second dose. On September 27, the state also made a record for the highest number of corona vaccines in a single day. On this day more than 34 lakh people were given vaccine doses in the state. Vaccines were given to 34, 88,909 people across the state.
Maharashtra – So far 5,86,11,680 people have been given the first dose of corona vaccine in Maharashtra, while 2,50,31,287 people have been given the second dose.
Madhya Pradesh- Madhya Pradesh has so far given the first dose of the vaccine to 4,86,19,014 people while the second dose has been given to 1,53,48,922 people.
A special mega campaign was launched in Madhya Pradesh on Monday to vaccinate local people who have not yet been given the first dose of COVID-19 vaccines. Underlining the achievements of the state so far, the Directorate of Health Services on Monday claimed that Madhya Pradesh is the number one state in terms of vaccines given to pregnant women, so far more than 2.5 lakh expectant mothers have got jabs.
Delhi- So far, 1,22,06287 people have received the first dose of Korna in the national capital Delhi, while the number of people who have received both doses of Kovid-19 vaccine is 60,14,991.
Tamil Nadu- In Tamil Nadu so far 3,69,98,091 people have been given the first dose of the vaccine while 1,20,17,115 people have received both the doses. After September 12, September 19 and September 26, the state is now gearing up to organize its fourth mega COVID-19 vaccination campaign on October 10.
The state health department had arranged 40,000 centers for vaccination in the first camp on September 12 and a target was set to vaccinate about 20 lakh people. According to the report, about 29 lakh people were given a dose of the vaccine, much more than the target.
Kerala- So far 2,47,50,099 people have been given the first dose of the vaccine in Kerala while 1,11,26,636 people have received the second dose so far.
The Kerala government on Saturday announced further easing of COVID-19 restrictions by reopening theatres, cinema halls and indoor auditoriums due to the decline in coronavirus cases in the state.
