New Delhi. Kia has introduced the new X-Line trim of its popular SUV Seltos in the Indian market. The new Kia Seltos X line, which was first introduced as a pre-production concept at the Auto Expo last year, sports a more aggressive styling than the regular Seltos. The company has used a dark theme in the styling and has introduced several cosmetic changes, which give the SUV a solid look at the front. The Seltos X line will be offered in a gunmetal matte finish paint job that also includes a black glossy treatment paired with orange highlights to give the SUV a stylish look. The changes made to the new smoky black grille design of the SUV, grabs instant attention. While the headlamps are similar to the regular Seltos, the Korean automaker has given it a smoked look.
The bumper has been redesigned to bring in revised new air dams along with orange inlays. Though the silhouette of this new trim is similar to that of the regular Seltos, the new cosmetic changes extend to the new ORVMs, including alloy wheels with orange highlights. The harsh cladding of the SUV has been changed, and smoked LED taillights have been included in the list of changes.

Features of Kia Seltos X-Line – The interiors on the X Line trim are similar to those offered on regular Seltos cars, with Kia introducing a dark theme with new faux leather upholstery. The SUV sports the same 10.25-inch touchscreen display with the UVO Connected Car system equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features offered on the SUV include automatic climate control, air purification system, sunroof, which are present on the regular Seltos SUV.

Engine of Kia Seltos X-Line – The Kia Seltos X-Line will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options. While the 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine generates 138 bhp of power and 242 Nm of peak torque, the 1.5-litre diesel engine is capable of producing 113bhp of peak power with 250Nm of peak torque. Kia has paired the petrol engine unit with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission as standard and a 6-speed automatic torque converter unit is offered with the diesel variant.
Kia Seltos X-Line Price
Kia is yet to reveal the prices of this SUV, but expect it to be priced higher than the regular Seltos which ranges between Rs 16.65 lakh to Rs 17.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). However, we will have to wait till the official launch in September 2021 for confirmation.
