New Delhi. Delhi government has come into action regarding pollution. Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has instructed all the departments to prepare a winter action plan against pollution. On Tuesday, Gopal Rai held a review meeting with all the concerned departments. In this meeting, the Environment Minister has directed all the departments to prepare their respective action plans and submit them to the Environment Department by September 21. Gopal Rai said in a conversation with the media after the meeting, ‘All the departments have been assigned different responsibilities on the 10 focus points, according to which we will prepare the winter action plan of the Delhi government. Along with this, by training the engineers, AEs and contractors working at the ground level, they will be sensitized to follow the guidelines issued by the government. Will soon meet Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav regarding this. Will submit the third party audit report regarding the use of bio-de-composer on stubble to the Union Environment Minister and demand him to implement it in other states.
This responsibility was given to prepare the action plan
Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai held a joint meeting with all the concerned departments regarding the Winter Action Plan. In this meeting, all the departments were entrusted with the responsibilities for preparing the Winter Action Plan. In this meeting all the high officials of the three MCD, NDMC, Cantonment Board, DDA, CPWD, PWD as well as Traffic Police, Transport Department, Environment Department, Development Department were present.

After the meeting, Gopal Rai said, ‘The purpose of the meeting is to prepare a joint action plan in this war against pollution inside Delhi. We have given specific tasks for different departments. On which all the departments have to prepare their action plan and submit it to the environment department by September 21. Accordingly, we will prepare the winter action plan of the government.
This is how Delhi government will deal with the problem of stubble
The Environment Minister said that the development department has been given the responsibility to prepare an action plan to deal with the problem of stubble inside Delhi. The Department of Agriculture comes under the Development Department. The department has been asked that what will be the time line and action plan this year to deal with the stubble generated inside Delhi? At the same time, the responsibility has been given to all the three MCDs, Cantonment Board, NDMC, DDA PWD, CPWD, Irrigation and Flood Control Department to prevent dust pollution.

The Delhi government has given a target to all the construction agencies to make their action plan on four points in particular. First, an action plan for the procurement of dust submission chemicals. Second, action plan for mechanical door sweeping. Third, the action plan for the disposal of these machines that pull the dust. Fourth, we have given special work to all the departments this time to sensitize their junior engineers, AEs and contractors working on the ground and change their mind set.
