Mumbai. Mumbai City FC has signed a three-year deal with Gurkeerat Singh ahead of the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) season. The football club on Saturday announced the signing of the contract with Gurkeerat. As per the agreement, Mumbai City has the option to extend the contract of the 18-year-old, who has represented the Indian Arrows, for another year.
Gurkeerat said in a statement, “Joining the Mumbai City team is a dream come true for any young player and for me it is no different.” He further said, ‘I understand the importance of the opportunity given to myself. I know nothing comes like this, I have a lot to learn from my teammates and experienced players. I am ready to work hard and make a difference with my efforts for this ambitious club.

Gurkeerat has scored one goal in 11 matches in the 2020-21 season. He is a regular performer in the AIFF development team. He has also impressed with the national team at the under-16 and under-18 level.
