In fact, the country’s second largest IT company Infosys said on Wednesday that it will hire about 45,000 freshers in the company this year. This announcement from Infosys comes at a time when its attrition rate ie the rate of employees leaving the company has increased significantly and there is a competition among IT companies to hire good technology talent.
Praveen Rao, COO (UB), Infosys said, “To take advantage of all the potential in the market, we will increase our college graduate hiring program to 45,000 this year. In addition, we will continue to address the needs of our employees including health and wellness measures, reskilling programs and opportunities for career growth.”

Infosys Q2 Results: Profit up 11.9% at Rs 5,421 crore
At the same time, Infosys on Wednesday declared its financial results for the second quarter of the current financial year (2021-22). The company’s consolidated net profit rose 11.9 per cent to Rs 5,421 crore in the second quarter ended September of the current financial year. With this, the company had earned a net profit of Rs 4,845 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.

In the information sent to the stock exchanges, the company said that its earnings during the quarter increased by 20.5 per cent to Rs 29,602 crore, from Rs 24,570 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
