New Delhi. The country’s second largest IT company Infosys on Wednesday announced its financial results for the second quarter of the current financial year (2021-22). The company’s consolidated net profit rose 11.9 per cent to Rs 5,421 crore in the second quarter ended September of the current financial year.
With this, the company had earned a net profit of Rs 4,845 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. In the information sent to the stock exchanges, the company said that its earnings during the quarter increased by 20.5 per cent to Rs 29,602 crore, from Rs 24,570 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

Revenue growth forecast raised to 16.5-17.5 per cent
The Bengaluru-based company has increased its revenue growth forecast for the current financial year 2021-22 to 16.5-17.5 per cent. Earlier, the company had estimated a growth of 14 to 16 percent in its revenue.

Company will pay dividend of Rs 15 per share
The Board of Directors of the company has declared an interim dividend of Rs 15 per share for the current financial year.
