New Delhi. The Kovid test report of all the players of the Indian cricket team has come negative. In such a situation, the hope of having the fifth and final Test match against England (India vs England) starting from 10th September has increased. However, the Indian cricket team’s junior physio Yogesh Parmar’s test for Kovid-19 has come positive, to which a senior player has raised objections. It is being told that the senior player is reluctant to take the field on Friday.
According to a report in PTI, the senior cricketer has expressed his concern about the situation getting worse if a player is found to be Corona positive during the match. It is learned that ECB President Tom Harrison is trying to talk to the senior Indian cricketer and address his concerns. All the rest of the team members are in favor of going ahead with the match. If things do not work out with the senior player, then BCCI can ask him to rest in the 5th Test.
Earlier a senior BCCI source said, “The test reports of all the players have come negative and this is good news. There is every hope of a match now.” The team had to cancel its practice session on Thursday after head coach Ravi Shastri and bowling coach Bharat Arun tested positive after another member of the support staff tested positive.

With Yogesh Parmar coming positive, the team no longer has a single physio. Chief physio Nitin Patel has been in isolation after Shastri was found infected during the Oval Test match. It is learned that the BCCI has asked the ECB to provide the services of the physio. Players were asked to stay in their respective rooms and RT-PCR tests were being conducted. Apart from Shastri and Patel, fielding coach R. Sridhar and bowling coach Arun are also in isolation in London. When India won the match on the fifth day at the Oval, only batting coach Vikram Rathod was with the team.

All the players and all the members of the support staff have been fully vaccinated. Symptoms were found in Shastri after his book launch event at the team hotel. People were allowed to come from outside in this program. Arun, Patel and Sridhar also participated in the event. India are currently leading 2-1 in the five-match series.
