There was a sharp decline in the prices of silver today. Due to this the white precious metal reached below Rs 62 thousand per kg. Silver prices on Monday fell by Rs 413 to close at Rs 61,907 per kg in the Delhi bullion market. At the same time, there was no big change in the price of silver in the international market today and it reached $ 23.66 an ounce.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said the rise in gold prices has halted the previous fall.
