This facility was also given to choose an automated track to reduce waiting.
In order to reduce the long waiting time for the automated track, the Delhi government had recently changed the mandatory for applicants to take the test on the track of the authorities according to their address. The applicants were also allowed to take the test on the track of the office in whichever zonal transport authority finds vacant space by visiting the department’s website at the time of applying for a permanent driving license.
Only the applicant has to select the track on the basis of the address.
At present, this facility was being given to the applicant only on the basis of his address on the automatic track of the Zonal Transport Office of that area. But now this facility was started for the purpose of reducing the ever-increasing number and giving more convenience. Apart from this, the test was also allowed on the weekend i.e. Sunday.
Authorities visit is required only for these works
After the introduction of the faceless facility, now there is no need to go to the office in the transport authorities to issue International Driving License to Public Service Vehicle (PSV) badge, vehicle registration and conductor license etc. Now all these works are also being done easily sitting at home. Now people have to go to the authority only to give driving test to get their driving license and to get the certificate of fitness of the vehicles.
