Addressing the 76th United Nations General Assembly, Jinping said, “Differences and troubles between countries, which can hardly be avoided, need to be handled through dialogue and cooperation on the basis of equality and respect.” The success of one country should not mean the failure of another country and the world is too big for the progress and common development of all countries.
He said that joint defense should serve as a central platform for the sharing of development achievements and preparedness for the future of the world to safeguard global security. He said that the UN should move forward in the field of security, development and human rights in a balanced way.
