Aatmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana: According to the information given by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, this scheme will be different from the National Health Mission.

New Delhi. Atmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana has been approved by the Union Cabinet on Wednesday. This is a plan of 64 thousand crore rupees. Sources have given this information on Wednesday. Under the scheme, Integrated Public Health Labs will be set up in all districts and 3,382 blocks.
The scheme was announced in the budget speech for FY 21-22 with an outlay of about Rs 64,180 crore over six years (up to FY 25-26). According to the information given by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, this will be in addition to the National Health Mission. Read the highlights of the scheme –
Support for 17,788 rural health and wellness centers in 10 high focus states.
Establishment of 11,024 urban health and wellness centers in all states.
Establishment of Integrated Public Health Laboratories in all districts and 3382 Block Public Health Units in 11 high focus states.
Establishment of critical care hospital blocks in 602 districts and 12 central institutions.
Strengthening of National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), its 5 regional branches and 20 metropolitan health surveillance units.
Expansion of Integrated Health Information Portal to all States/UTs to link all Public Health Laboratories.
Operation of 17 new public health units and strengthening of 33 existing public health units, which are located at 32 airports, 11 seaports and 7 land crossings.
Establishment of 15 health emergency operation centers and 2 mobile hospitals.
