New Delhi. Skill is never a matter of age. This proverb proved to be true when a class 9th boy living in Subhash Nagar, Delhi made an electric bike from the scraps of Royal Enfield. 15-year-old student Raj told that, I had made an e-cycle before this. But in that I was not successful in installing the system to control the speed. Because of this I fell once and I got hurt.
Rajan told that when he started making electric bikes from him. At that time the schools were closed due to Corona. So I learned about the technical aspects of the bike at a bike repair shop nearby. After which I convinced my parents to buy an old bike and some essentials from a scrap dealer. The total cost of which was 45 thousand rupees.
How is this electric bike? According to media reports, the student claims that this e-bike can be easily charged at home and on a single charge, it will run for 100 kilometers. At the same time, the student told that all this started from the first lock down and now success has been achieved. The student told that he had first experimented on a bicycle, but he was not successful. After about a month started experimenting on the scrap bike. This experiment on a scrap bike was successful and now it is a dream to make an e-car.
